Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th December 1991. Matthew Matt James was the mixed race father of Manny James (of Jamaican descent) as well as Patty James. He is the son of Nigerian and his mother is a caucasian American. He graduated in 2010 from Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James' fame kick-started after he appeared on screen for his first appearance as a reality TV star on The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen to play the role of bachelor in season 25 becoming one of the very initial African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James was the ideal fit for the part. He's tall and handsome, with a good sense of humor. Rachael Krokconnell won the competition by allowing James to establish an intimate relationship with her. In the 30th season (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, he competed with the famous dancer Arnold. James along with Arnold placed 12th on the show.
