Alicia Malone

Alicia had to go through the FilmStruck service. FilmStruck is a TCM online movie streaming platform in the year 2015. Malone recorded Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's openings to allow her to practice reading them in front the camera before her TCM hosting audition. She auditioned in 2017 for a Turner Classic Movies presenter position. The channel hired her on January 1, 2018. Malone discussed the struggles females face when it comes to film production during two separate TEDx speeches. Maree has appeared on various other television shows as well, such as Today NPR CNN The Movies documentary MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight, MTV & ABC's Live from the Red Carpet Oscar 2019 pre-show. She has also created and hosted Fandango's YouTube channel Indie Movie Guide.
